NEW ALBUM BY IN STRICT CONFIDENCE

The release of the new IN STRICT CONFIDENCE album is scheduled January 2006 exactly two years after the issue of the band´s last fulltime-work "Holy".

Recordings are planned to be finished by August. Also, the extensive and complex artwork shall be completed by then, so the band is very confident to meet the schedule.

At present, the release of a single-EP is being discussed within the band. Most probably, it will be available as soon as November.

In March 2006, ISC will embark on a grand tour. More info on that will be provided within the next days.

The range of songs is not complete yet, but will more titles will be added soon.

COLLAPSE - RE-RELEASE

This re-release from ´97 of the second cd of IN STRICT CONFIDENCE is one more step to make the whole programm of isc-releases available again.

The original version, which was an 8-track ep, is now supplemented by unreleased and rare tracks from the passed time, to form a 80-minute full-time-CD.

The EPCD had to be removed from the stores in 1999 because of a legal contest with the bands former label. From then on, the COLLAPSE-EP was quite rare and sought-after.

Including remixes from Funker Vogt, ISC, Aghast View and others, the new CD-Release will be in stores at the end of february.

after several delays the work for the new cd-ep "seven lives" is almost finished. the final playlist is not finished yet, but it will be longer than expected.

the whole playtime will be almost 80 minutes with about 14 tracks.

the cd comes with some new tracks like "der teufel", "open skies" and "walking shadows" and several remixes from bands like DE/VISION, THE CRüXSHADOWS and IRIS.

during the last weeks, isc produced remixes for the bands THE CRüXSHADOWS, THE ANCIENT GALLERY and BLUTENGEL. the mixes will be in stores on the next releases of these bands.

		For all hardcore-fans ISC are working on a new special version of the "holy"-album which will be limited to 1111 copies.
It will be released in a nice metal-box and contain only previously unreleased material. Each song of the holy-album got remixed by Benny Boysen, he is a real good producer of amazing remixes of ISC-music and has created quite remarkable versions from our sound material. 		On 3rd may, the ISC-owned label Minuswelt Musikfabrik will release the "CORTEX COMPILATION vol.1". it will contain exclusive tracks from YELWORC,
MELOTRON, IN STRICT CONFIDENCE and others, next to club hits from PZYCHOBITCH, THE RETROSIC, RUN LEVEL ZERO and many more. This tracklist, about 80 minutes playing-time and a 16-page-booklet, all sold to mid price, makes this compilation a must-have! ISC will feature the compilation with an unreleased extended version of "closing eyes"!

HOLY ARTWORK DISPUTED IN THE USA

		After the many positive reviews to our "holy"-artwork all over the world, the picture-series seem to be disputed by some conservative groups in the US. Janet Jackson´s scandal with Justin Timberlake uncovering her breast at the super-bowl has lead to conversion in some parts of music-press and media distributors. Due to this, some ISC-intervies have been printed in magazines without
most of the corresponding artwork... At the same time, some distributors like "Hot Topic" do not want to sell the "holy"-album because of the bare breast on the front cover. "The facts, like in the US its normal to show brutal violence on tv at the best sending time or officially sell dangerous weapons at a normal supermarket, make it hard for us to believe that a naked breast can produce concern like this. "Violence - YES!!" but "Sex - NO!!" is NOT our point of view." -the Band The request to design a more neutral version of the artwork was strictly refused by the band. But still, in spite of all that, the "holy"-album is the most popular ISC-album in the US ever.

CHANDEEN-SINGER ANTJE AND ION JAVELIN feature ISC

		For the coming album "Holy" latest news are coming up bit by bit.... one of them is the fact that the band gets to work with additional singers like Antje Schulz,
who is singer in the well-known heavenly voices band CHANDEEN. Also they invited Ion Javelin to sing in studio, known as "the voice" of the band MOSKWA TV, he performed hits like "Generator 7/8" surely known by most of you.

on 3rd november 2003 IN STRICT CONFIDENCE will release the new single called "babylon", to prepare you well for the 5th longplayer coming in 2004.

The single-release contains 13 tracks on two seperate CDs, remixes from l´ame immortelle, olaf wollenschläger and many more, also new unreleased tracks.

a good thing about the cover-artwork: if you lay the frontcovers next to each other, the two pictures will fit together as one. There will be some details of the band´s new artwork on this page soon!

just in this moment isc finished a new remix for l´ame immortelle´s song "aus den ruinen" (from the ruins).

this version will be included on the cd of sonic seducer magazine (germany), issue of february 2003.

Chicago show canceled !

We're sorry to have to announce that this sunday`s show of IN STRICT CONFIDENCE in Chicago has been cancelled.

Early this week we gave the promoter a deadline to provide the missing informations and confirmations we have been asking for at least 6 weeks (signed contract, hotel-confirmation, local tech specs, airport shuttle service, rented backline, etc.).

Until wednesday, 13th of november, 3 pm Mid-European-time we haven`t gotten any necessary information for the band to be able to come over and play a show. So we were cancelling the gig for them as we have announced to the promoter when setting this deadline.

On wednesday night we got some requested information and after a phonecall with the local promoter on thursday we were re-considering flying over and doing the show. For the whole friday we were expecting once again the requested info but nothing got through again.

Around midnight the promoter called finally but it was already too late. It was impossible for the band and crew (which lives in different places of europe: germany, spain and norway) already to hop on to the flights which were booked far in advance.

We are very sorry for the situation and especially for those of you travelling long distances to see IN STRICT CONFIDENCE.

The band still hopes to be able to come over quite soon. Enjoy ASSEMBLAGE 23, DECODED FEEDBACK and all the other bands tomorrow!

MEDIA CONTROL CHARTS
the current album "mistrust the angels" entered the official german media control selling charts. a nice surprise und success for the band and the young label. they would like to say "thank you!" to all media partners, the distributor and of course all fans !

those ones who are afraid that isc will change their style now, like some others did, into trend oriented music, are wrong. the band answered to this question:

"why we should change exactly this music, which we owe our growing success since years. we love what we do, so there is no need to follow a trend. but of course we would like to take part of the evolution, stood still means death and we are more alive than ever."

there is still no official release date for the US and canada, but we will inform you a.s.a.p.

ISC breakup with Bloodline
isc just canceled their cooperation with their german label bloodline, which released the "love kills!" cd and the single releases "kiss your shadow" and "zauberschloss" in europe. same with sideproject controlled fusion.

maybe there´ll be some problems in a few shops for that reason. but if there´s anyone searching for one of the cds, can find them in our online shop.
